According to a study at the University of Melbourne, browsing the internet for short periods of time can help one recharge and increase productivity. The study found that those who take short internet surfing breaks are 9% more productive than those who do not.
Measure Goals
Every professional should have measurable goals. Each work day should be spent doing something that contributes to reaching these goals. Remaining productive can be difficult when there is no boss around to monitor how time is spent. However by implementing these strategies, freelancers, business owners, and solopreneurs will be able to accomplish more in less time.
